Annular Solar Eclipse
Grab your eclipse glasses, ensure they are not damaged, and
head outside to witness an annular solar eclipse! To
celebrate, the Smoky Mountains STEM Collaborative is
hosting a solar viewing party from 11:45 a.m.-2:45 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 14 in the Balsam parking lot on Southwestern
Community College’s Jackson campus! There will be
telescopes with solar filters for safe viewing. We hope you’ll
join us in witnessing this spectacular celestial event!
